Harju Septic
A one-truck septic operation that answers like it means it.
Overview
A residential septic and holding-tank pumping business serving the western Upper Peninsula of Michigan and northern Wisconsin rebranded from its prior identity and needed a phone-first site that led with owner accountability, not a call-center feel.
Scope of work
- Full rebrand from prior business identity
- Custom Next.js build
- Multi-state service-area page (MI + WI)
- FAQ section
- Phone-first contact design
The Challenge
What we walked into.
A rebrand meant starting the business's search presence over, in a rural, two-state service area where trust is built by knowing exactly who's coming to your property — not by funneling calls through a dispatcher.
The Approach
How we solved it.
Built the site around a direct-accountability message — "this is who picks up when you call, not a dispatcher three states away" — with an explicit, town-by-town service-area page across Michigan and Wisconsin for local search, and an FAQ answering the real questions customers ask about pumping frequency, tank types, and winter service.
Outcomes
What shipped.
Rebrand shipped
New name and identity live, replacing the prior "A1 Septic" branding
Hyperlocal reach
Named service-area coverage across nine towns in two states
Phone-first design
Every page built around one clear call path — no funnel, no form friction
Highlights
- Full rebrand from a prior business identity
- Town-by-town service-area page spanning Michigan and Wisconsin
- FAQ built from real recurring customer questions
